A couple of DIY's I came across just says "pop them out" by pushing the clips away from the tabs on the nose panel... Is it me or is this VERY wrong? I did that originally on my OEM's when I didn't know how the trim/grill went together and managed to break like, all of the clips... On my new shadows I separated the trim and the grill and sandwiched it into the nose grill. To uninstall reverse the process. (I still managed to break some clips though, goddamn eBay garbage). Anyways, feel free to toss out your secret way. Also I'm probably going crazy thinking my grills are crooked, which they are, but because my nose panel is warping, ****ing previous owner... __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . DONT start prying yet after one - go through all the inserts (8?) and release the tabs so that you see a small gap all around. if it's tight somewhere go back and repeat. gently pry the kidney away from the vertical slat grille. these brittle tabs were designed to be snapped. | | | 07-22-2007, 11:21 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Southern California - Orange county Posts: 978 | i put the credit card on the on the bottow and use the screwdriver to carefully pry off the sides dont pull just get all the sides loose and the wiggle it off it shouldnt be too hard just pop out the grill not the whole thing __________________ 1995 318ti Cosmos Black Bilsteins w/ H&R Sport, Depos w/ angeleyes and HID 5K, 50% short throw kit, Custom fogged intake, AC schnitzer pedels w/ deadpedels, leather stickshift knob, vitesse tuning Ebreak boot w/ shift boot, X-Brace, 325/328 brake upgrade, Gray millpoint leather and cloth interior, custom computer multimedia system, and Style 5 BBS 17" rims, M3 Mirrors, CF Hood | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
