Default Schatz & Krum Performance Eprom (Chip)

http://www.schatzandkrum.com/index.html

Up for sale is an uber rare, Schatz & Krum EProm, performance chip for the OBD1 M42 motors (1992-1995 318i, 318is, 318ti). It works on non EWS2 cars, so pre 1/95 build and with ECU ending in 990.

They used to burn custom software for OBD1 BMW's back in the day....this was not an inexpensive process. I am asking only $95 shipped to you! Less than a 1/3 of what this cost new.

Serial number: 071.500

What does this do? Raise the rev limiter? change the F/A Map for high end? Low end?
My car has a build date of 10/95 so I guess it won't work for mine... but tell us what this thing does!

Raised rev limiter, more aggressive fuel map for overall hp/torque gains. Great chip.

You need to check your build date on the door jamb on the drivers side. As lone as it is 12/94 and before, you are good.

Stock rev limiter is just over 6500, this allows you to rev closer to 7K and adjusts timing for better power.
