I always say do what you like... IMO I like the reiger if you're not going for an OE look, and it suits the rest of your car.

As to the M-Tech stuff... I actually like the stock paint-matched rear bumper on mine better than the M-Tech... When I get the M front, I think I'm leaving the back the way it is.

the m tech is $380 at a dealer.... my cost.
That reiger looks awesome, but wide rear wheels ARE required!.

I am pretty sure they want some stupid amount of $ for it... so I'll stick to the M tech as the next budy mod.... in the mean time... the 332 is at the shop... sick... with a HEADache.

The thing I don't like about the stock bumper is how the gas tank hangs down. Looks kinda funky to me.

I'm buying locally. Online you can find the Rieger ti bumper at http://www.mmstuning.com/ for $425

the Rieger rear bumper will fit a regular ti, i believe the one in the pic has been modded to fit the custom widened fenders.

check out http://www.rieger-tuning.de/en/index.html for a full catalogue of Rieger parts for the ti.

All i can see from the back of mine is the spare-wheel holder, the gas tank is situated more to the center-right of the ti. But yeah, that is also one of the reasons i like the Rieger rear bumper, it covers nicely

I also think that it would look much better on a black ti; the lines are hidden partially by the color. Anyways, thanks for all the input!

Here's an idea, since a lot of people like your rear M-tec bumper once you get the Reiger one installed sell the M-tec and make a little moocha back

LOL, you guys are so funny. This is the opposite of the rice style. This is clean style (typical German style), this style stands for tief und breit (deep and wide). In this style they try to take the rims as wide as possible and put a smaller tire on so they can go a little bit deeper and the tyre doesn't look as high. So stretched tyres is one of the things you need to do if you want to go that style.

About the rear skirt it is still stock, in Europe it costs about 400€ so the 425$ is a good price. And almost any car that participate at these shows has widened fenders, certainly in Germany. Why ? because like that they can go even deeper, I guess the space between tarmac and the underneath of this car is less than 1"

By the way, I don't know where you got that pic from, but it is one I took at a show in Kirkel (Germany), I do have pics from the front too if you want. This ti also has the Rieger E46 M3 frontskirt. It has the a Euro E36 M3 engine implanted (320pk)

Here's the front of the ti. As fuma mentioned, its running a euro m3 engine . Fuma, i got the pics somewhere on http://www.bmwclub-dreamcars.at.tt/ a while back. Anyone know how the hell this guy can drive his ti with those rims? They must be just for show.

If i do end up purchasing the rieger rear bumper, i'll leave the rest of the kit the way it is....I've got an oem e36 m3 front bumper sitting in my garage that i may eventually put on once my current e46 style bumper starts to get old. I keep all my oem bmw parts, so i wont sell the rear bumper if i end up switching it to rieger.

The reiger rear is starting to grow on me, but the front end and the wheels on that silver ti is just hideous.
