I can only wish i guess. Well if it were all possible how much are we talking about in your price? doing it with the HFM and without it. Also, is it that big of a difference for tuning for the M50 manifold on the OBD-II? Its just always been a be arguement amongst some guys here in SoCal. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! Im sure you are familiar with MarkD from the greater toronto area, he said he could transfer the tune from my toasted DME onto another used one for a fee, could you do this as well? if so, PM me a price. nice to see more tuners in canada! __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 08-21-2010, 04:37 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by Philly Barrie, I have a OBDII m52 dme that i had flashed at Activeautowerke a couple years ago, the board got abit wet but almost all functions are still there, just too unpredictable to drive with it. Your best bet is to grab a clone tool and see if you can take a read and send it off to me for a compare.. If it does read its just a mater of flashing in your file from the old dme to the new used dme and I wouldnt realy charge for something like that | | | 08-21-2010, 04:45 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | $40 Ebay. PM me for details. You can read your DME and send the file to Barrie. | | | 09-17-2010, 08:47 AM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | 60# injector tune is complete for my motor @ 20 psi. It is a excellent tune. It took a while due to a bad MAF sensor on my car throwing off the lambda tune and us not realizing it until we said damn something isn't right here so I got a new MAF Tuesday and we finished the tune Wednesday. Put 120 miles on it today and no issues. It's nice to have full lambda while cruising then hit the gas and boost 20psi at 11.9-12.0 AFR. If I find enough people looking for this conversion I will develop this conversion for my own m42 OBD1 and sell the chip and instructions Regards| | | | 09-21-2010, 03:59 AM | #30 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: maryland Posts: 127 | barrie u done with the maf yet? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
