Default is this ews?

this dme is from the original one mated to the engine i swaped into my car. But currently this dme wont work in my car for some reason, yet my previous engines ecu and the new engine are mated. I would like to use the later dme because for w/e reason no one can provide a tune for my current ecu. Its apparently very rare. This is the new one that I would like to get installed.
