Default Wanda's 316i Turbo & Supercharged journal

After getting some advice from Prince, Lee, and Dave. I thought it was time for a journal.

Also i will use this journal to help me keep track of my own progress too, just so nothing gets sidetracked.

Initially i was debating to myself "turbo vs. s/c vs. the costs & labour", in the end i decided to for S/C.

Even though it's not DASC (very hard to get hold of, we all know this!), so i'll be building my own kit & ofcourse some parts will be fabricated also...

It's going to be a "slow progress" journal but yeah it will be done eventually!
=======================

Anyways, pictures!

Mercedes Supercharger w/ electromagnetic clutch (Eaton)
Yes, it's dirty as it was taken from a used car @35,000 miles. I'll eventually add some new oil to the S/C anyways.

Lower-intake manifold, TB + AFM boot
This manifold will be fabricated with a little box that separates the manifold & the S/C.
The very same box, will have some holes for bypassing work.

That's it for now, over the next few days, i should be collecting some more parts before i visit my fabricator & see what he can do...

For now, I gotta draw a template of a box (that separates the S/C & manifold), make measurements, etc. This stage of fabrication needs to be perfect, so there isn't a room for error...

Thanks reading & comments are welcome

Not on a 316 nope. Only 318's. So this is quite a unique challenge.

Progress begins next week. I was acquiring parts, sorry for the delay.

I'll probably put a small turbo too. (Twin screw ? yeah why not! )
