Personally now that I own an OBD-I CS, I miss OBD-II.

That being said I'd rather have a bone stock Club Sport over one with mods.

One more thing. K&N is this kiss of death as far as I am concerned!
Unless that thing has been properly cleaned, oiled and dried before reinstalling, you could be looking at issues.
I had a K&N in my new to me CS. The intake is all gummed up.

+1...I did a lot of research on K and N filters when I was considering one. They are probably less restrictive than conventional filters, but the trade off has to be decreased filtration. Our ti's aren't powerful anyway...give me the filtration every time.

I've had K&N's on several vehicles, 2 of them were over 300K when I sold them. But I'm anal about maintaining them and I don't take shortcuts. I use foam filters when its really nasty conditions on my offroad toys..

That's the thing. They can't be neglected and the oil must be dry when installed. I have an IFG foam filter in my 96 and am very careful cleaning it.
