Default Want to remove tinting

hey guys im wanting to remove the tinting on my windows... even though it looks nice and is cool durring the day .... it makes life so much harder on late night runs when you cant see out the windows ... dos any one know how much it might cost or if i could do it my self????

do it yourself is easy, i use about two bottles of "windex" or othe glass cleaner and the knife( i dont know tha name in spanish so i write knife but is the little one like exacto)well i pull one corner of the tint paper and remove it, the clean the window with a lot of windex and the knife to remove the tint glue residues

Some type of solution, such as alcohol can help too...i know i got the tint crap off the windows of my crx with paint thinner or somethin like that.

I remember heating the tint film with a hair dryer helped quite a bit.

I just got my windows tinted to like 20%, I drive home at 1 or 2 am everynight, I have no prob seeing out the windows,

I think Father means a razor blade. Keep scraping, and keep the blade clean (get a wet sponge, and slice it a little to remove goop). Even when it looks clean, you'll still remove junk.

Use the razor blade when the glass is cool. I don't think it can scratch, but might as well not take the chance.

All i have to say is good luck doing the rear window with the defroster. Thats going to be a tough job.

just spray the glass cleaner(after remove the tint) and clean with the metal spongee
