I only ask this because all the lightweight flywheels I'm seeing (the non-M5 clutch versions) require the use of a M3 clutch assembly. Why wouldn't you be able to use a non-M clutch assembly? | | | 07-04-2009, 01:58 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | bigger on m3, just match the clutch to the flywheel. Ex. is you get m3 flywheel, get m3 clutch __________________ -Jeff | | | 07-04-2009, 02:16 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Seattle Posts: 181 | What do you mean bigger, realoem states that the M3 and 328 clutches are both 240mm. I have a 328 clutch in front of me and it visually looks identical (on the surface at least) to the M3 clutch in this picture: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showpost....3&postcount=13 | | | 07-04-2009, 02:41 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | ok then maybe its not haha.
