I'll include the maintenance code reader, owner's manual, repair invoices, etc. I probably have some BMW filters too. You are welcome to the box and papers from the new stereo. Green, Sunroof, Hatchback. New stereo head unit, plugs, wires, battery, other maintenance, replaced radiator, cat (after 4 cats, the next mechanic said it was an intake leak), new tires. I have scrubbed and cleaned interior with a Rug Doctor (...always leave it cleaner than you found it...) Issues: 1. Not passed inspection, worst case scenario would be a valve job (serious buyer is welcome to contact my mechanic). 2. Minor damage to hood and nose-panel, could be done at home, but beyond my interest. 3. Expected signs of age such as dry exterior black trim and some headliner sag, decals showing age, etc. I could get this price as a rebate from the state when buying a new car, but then the TI would be destroyed. Also I am selling and buying a house soon and don't want to finance anything until after the mortgage. 76010 email for phone # Jeremy | | | 01-15-2008, 07:45 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | you should post some pictures up to help the sale. __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 01-15-2008, 09:55 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Arlington, TX Posts: 26 | pictures Good idea, click on my gallery for images. I got about as much sleep that night as when my carbon fiber bike climbed off the balcony, down a tree, and rolled away on its own. (I thought it was happy, but I guess I just missed the signs.) | | | 01-16-2008, 07:10 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | damn!!! dallas area people are crazy. our house got robbed and its on the third floor. they walked up and down 3 flights of stairs with our tv's and dvd players __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 01-16-2008, 09:20 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | those may be holes from something used to pull dents out of the hood. I hope when I take mine in for that work they use something that is easier to paint over/fix. | | | 01-16-2008, 11:44 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | yeah no ****! those are some nasty holes. time for a new hood __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 01-16-2008, 11:55 PM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Arlington, TX Posts: 26 | true, but... Anyway, it certainly could be fixed without too much effort, either with the original body panels or the aftermarket ones waiting in my garage...by someone else. With all the replacements and the expensive German mechanics we have come to feel irrationally negative about this car. It's a shame because we still love the way it drives. I am sure the next owner will approach it with a fresh attitude. | | | 01-16-2008, 11:58 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | wanna trade for a honda ruckus? lol its worth a try __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 01-17-2008, 12:22 AM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Arlington, TX Posts: 26 | No harm. It worked, but I don't think I'll ride another motorcycle with less than 500cc. The Ruckus looks fun, but I don't have a ranch. If I were to get a little scooter it would be the traditional around town tires and locking under-seat storage type. Unfortunately, I don't deserve any toys right now. | | | 01-17-2008, 12:43 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | no worries i figured i would throw it out there. how bout a honda accord lol my girlfriend would love a ti its a92 i think 2 door with 140,000 miles __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 01-17-2008, 02:30 AM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Arlington, TX Posts: 26 | Quote: Originally Posted by thesk8nmidget no worries i figured i would throw it out there. how bout a honda accord lol my girlfriend would love a ti its a92 i think 2 door with 140,000 miles | On the right track with the honda only I hope to be out of the old car business | | | 01-17-2008, 02:55 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | ok last offer... wanna donate it to the "josh needs more ti's fund? puuurdy pwwwease? lol good luck with the sale. have you tried craigslist yet? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 01-18-2008, 03:04 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Arlington, TX Posts: 26 | I'll include the peake research tool (ecm code reader and maintenance light reset) with a full offer. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
