haha for real?

Just check out ddmtuning.com. They have great deals on headlights. I got mine for about $155 with HIDs, Angel eyes, and lamin x. It's a great deal.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

I'm not trying to hate but DEPOs are mentioned alot on this forum. If you get those ebay lights then you might as well have kept the honda. Use the search button for DEPOs and you'll get more info on them.

You got me there.
But if i would have a guess i would say they are the same as Predator Chromium on the DEPOs. I'm just saying that if you get the one piece lights your going to get flamed on by alot of people. Also like i said i have had the one piece too and i prefer the DEPOs way better and so does the OP. They also have HIDs which do not come with the one piece. But in the end its your choice and your own style. Here's the link to the lights just incase your interested. Also they are on sale right now.

im an idiot when it comes to BMWs. i dont get what you are saying thats why im asking so i learn. you guys know lots about 318ti. as for me this is my first bmw. all i know so far is that there are projector lights with ccfl or LED angel eyes. i dont know whats the depo type.

xchromium is a rare brand and expensive aftermarket engine parts only sold in Japan. they have special cams, cam gears, piston etc... they are much more expensive than MUGEN and better built. they feature alloy tungsten and chromium composites in the engine parts. usually in escapement design.

haha then there you go, i may not be as smart as i thought i was. I'm an idiot too, I was not too deep into the honda world that i could have know that. I was into CRX's but didn't get too much into them. I looked up xchromium on the google and didn't get nothing on it execpt for this thread.

Again dude if you want good quality go with DEPO. The headlight is made of glass not plastic. The HIDs make it way brighter than any light bulb I have tired. You can also get angel eyes if you decide to. The only thing about DDM is that they take a while to ship out items since they are very popular and have a high amount of orders. Also while your at it i would get the smoked corners for $20 more. Make sure to get the 4 door corner lights as the two door will not fit our cars.

My bad if i came out as an ass. Didn't mean to and i prolly did sound like one. This is my first BMW too and I'm still learning about this car and BMWs as well

HID is for the headlight, makes it way brighter.

Difference between Apex and Depo would have brand name and price. They are basically the same but i believe Depo may be of better quality.

Apexcone is their "house brand", DEPO is the name brand. Not a whole hell of a lot of difference, but even their manager says the DEPO is worth $25 bucks more.

The free HID option is the headlights, not the Angel Eyes...

I haven't been able to discerne what the differences between Angel Eye options is, maybe someone else can enlighten us? For example, I have DEPO Gen 3 w/o HID, and CCFL (ultra compact fluorescent) angel eyes. I attached a pic here... They look slightly yellow compared to the newer LED varieties.

Oh, Dave beat me to it... (Sir Speedy!)

I think i have the chromium ones since mine look like they are on during the day, when they are not. Also when i turn mine on they are white not yellowish.
