Default 318ti STW vs. 323ti

Hi guys,

I am a new member. I live in Switzerland.
I drive an E90 325i and an E46 M3 CSL.
I want to get something smaller and eventually convert it to a racing machine (rollcage, buckets etc).

I am between a 323ti and a 318ti.

My first question starts here.
I found that in CH there are some 318ti marked as Limited Edition STW version (46 cars in the world).
You can see an example here -> link
What is obvious is the M3 package, the lightweight BBS wheels, alcantara interior and label in the dashboard.
Do you know any more details about this version ?

Also, do you think a 318ti would perform better in the racetrack (Ring especially) than a 323ti ?

Thanks

With the 'rings elevation changes you are really going to have to keep the momentum up.
I'd want a little more hp that the 323ti will give you.
And interior and the label doesn't make the car go faster.
You can always get yourself a set of light wheels.

Plus you are going to replace the seats anyway.
Those are nice seats.

I'd go with the 323ti too, unless you're planning on doing an engine swap it will be a better baseline to start with
