I dont think that 325i rear strut bar will fit in the Ti. I made some calls when I was looking for mine and I was told it wont fit. Something to do with the clearance of the engine. But thats what I was told, might not be right.
But that carbon fiber strut looks nice tho.

He's talking about the rear, and the answer is no it won't fit. The Ti has completely different rear suspension than the other e36's. Therfore, the RSM's are positioned differently.

The strut brace that you inquired is more than likely carbon wrapped, meaning that the carbon is simply cosmetic and serves no purpose. There's nothing wrong with that, as long as the brace itself is strong enough without the carbon overlay.

Jean, I'd recommend trying to fabricate your own or have one made for your car. It'll probably cost less and you'll be happier with the results. BTW, Stay away from hinged strut braces, they aren't nearly as stiff as one piece designs. I'd agree with most people here and say that an X-brace is the way to go. If by chance you do decide to tackle the job and build your own, and you want a carbon fiber finish, Just wrap it with fiberglass and after the epoxy resin cures, paint it with a transparent black enamel to give it a nice carbon look.
