Default A/C compressor confusion

Is it necessary to match the a/c compressor to the expansion valve?? I bought an exp valve from Pelican for a Seiko compressor & a compressor from PartsGeek that is a Denso. Does it matter ??

Would have bought the Pelican compressor, but it is $500 bucks.
