Default HID Conversion Kit Help Needed

Greetings,

I recently ordered the Canbus Xenon HID kit from Umnitza to upgrade the headlights in my 99 ti. Unfortunately they came with no instructions. I have looked at the various installation links on their website's help section and searched the internet and this forum but I can not figure out what to do the the blue & black wires attached the the black male connector in the attached a picture.

If I understand the connection, the connector attached to the ballast connects to my existing low beam (grey) connector. The black & red wires out of the ballast adapter connect to the HID bulb as in the picture.

Can anyone tell me:
What do the black & blue wires connect to?
What happens to the existing brown wire (ground?) that is attached to the (Depo) head light housing?
Does my high beam connection remain unchanged?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Ah I had a simliar problem when putting my fog lights in.

You should return them if you can, and double check you got the right ones. If not, you can get some adapters here, http://www.bavtoys.com/9006.php. I'll attach photos of what mine wiring looks like in a few minutes.

Default Hope this helps

You'll need to cut/wire it yourself[not good idea], get a converter for it[better], or return/get a new kit with the most proper connectors[best]. Here is a pretty confusing image I made but it should help. Before and after. If you need higher res shots lemme know.

Thank you for your response. An Umnitza rep responded to me with the following: "They are adapter wires, positive and negative and go into the connector for the halogen bulb. In reality, they aren’t necessary in most applications."

I was able to confirm on line since I have the correct connectors I don't need these. So the only remaining questions I have are:

What happens to the brown wire (ground?) that is attached to the (low beam) head light housing?

Does my high beam connection remain unchanged?

Default Update

So here is the latest. I have the new angel eyes & the HID low beams wired up & working.

What does not work is the high beam and I am completely stumped. I have verified that I have power at the harness and in fact all the way to the bulb. I have verified the bulb is good and that the fuses are ok.

What I don't get is that there are only 2 wires. A brown (ground from what I have online) and white. The white goes to the back of the (H1) bulb and the brown to the high beam (reflector) housing. It all seems so simple, yet no light

Any thoughts on what I am missing?
