Default Need Help on Engine Harness

I made a mistake choosing a replacement M42 engine for my daugther's 95 Ti . Her car is a June 1995 manufacture date. It has a M42 engine with automatic transmission. The ENGINE WIRING HARNESS is DME+EGS and PN# 12511739948.

I bought a M42 engine from a January 1994 318is with manual transmission. The ENGINE WIRING HARNESS is DME PN#12511247795.

I checked the graphic on RealOEM prior to purchase and it was the same for both cars but the mistake I made was not checking the Harness part numbers.

I believe and hope this is a minor setback and I can use the wiring harness on the car. There appears to be only two locations the harness connects to the engine and these look the same on both engines. One is a connection box under the intake manifold and the other is connection box above the Injection Tube. I need to get a wiring diagram and /or instructions on these to determine any differences.

If not I will have to return the engine and search for the correct engine.

Default Added Detail on Harness Question

With help from other sources, I have resolved most of my question.

I have the 3 plug Throttle Valve Switch, Idle Regulating Valve, 2 knock sensors, 2 head temp sensor/switches, oil pressure sensor, Trigger Contact and Pulse Generator cables labeled. These were labeled before I disconnected them from the donor engine. I am 75% sure I have the Vacuum Switch/Box cable labeled correct.

The two cables in question are 2 plug and exit the bottom of the junction box with 4 other cables with ring connectors and 2 of these connect to the alternator. The other two ring connectors may be to the starter or a ground.

I now believe the shorter of the two cables connects to the Vacuum Reservoir. I think the Vacuum Reservoir is black plastic 2-3 inched in diameter and is 2-3 inched long and mounts in a rubber ring. There something called the Electric Valve near the Vacuum Reservoir so this is a candidate for the long cable.

If I am correct about the above, this leaves the longer (by 18 inches) 2 plug connector cable.

I am confused about the name of another part in the area. There is a large black plastic tank ( 4-5 inches diameter and 6-8 inches long) looking part maybe called the Vacuum Tank that mounts to the inner fender? It has no electrical connection.
