Default Sold my Dad's Boat

Well just sold my dad's boat after he passed on the 10th of April. It was hard but I listed it on Craig's list and it sold in 15 minutes. Guy was all excited and I was happy to sell it to him. He was all over the boat asking me questions about things like the Merc-cathode, ship to shore, motor, Kenwood radio, depth, etc, etc. I liked the guy and decided to sell it to him.

Sorry to see it go but High and Dry storage is expensive so it must go. Title signed tomorrow and it is gone....

61 Caddy will be looked at this Wednesday by a buyer I hate to see it go but I can't keep it either. I have no space for it. It is a show winner the last 8 years. 2 best in show and 6 1st place. This sucks balls

Dude that sucks, sorry to hear it.

Parting with things like that, which have great sentimental value for you in addition to the materialistic component, is hard.

I have a lot of stuff still left. We are just off-loading the items we need to get rid of before hurricanes and that take up space. I have so many things that mean so much to me. Trust me I look in my safe and cry when I see those special items. I've got a Walmart shaver we both bought two of, I have the same one but shave with his now...It's the best, Purple and the best shave I've got in years.

Can't bro it's worth too much and I can't take care of it. It needs a new home. I'm making sure it doesn't get in the hands of a person that will put 25's on it and pimp it out...or my dad will come back and have another heart-attack while he rolls-over in his grave. It will be sold to the La-Salle club where it will be respected...

I'm sorry John...I know those things meant a lot to your dad and you. I know you will take great care to sell them to someone who will take care of them. It's rough dude.

Yep sold the 61 Caddy show car on Friday. I sat and watched it drive up the road, that was a hard. A retired Air Force pilot bought it and I sure he will take good care of it. Real nice guy that was in the same Caddy club as my dad...
