Thanks much! I'd wonder about if removing the knee braces removed some rigidity inside. I know it not like it's suspension rigidity, but more from a dash squeak future issue. I wonder that the Euro models do in this case?

The euro models have nothing under there in this case so it shouldn't affect anything=) I really don't understand why the US models got the knee braces anyways.

Generally - yes, but I think it's the shipping costs that would kill the deal (as I'm shipping from Germany)...

Could you send me a picture where you mark what area you exactly would be needing? The size of that part marks the shipping costs pretty much... That would help me a lot in checking the shipping rates!
