lol yea steve your honestly better off going with my unit. Getting mine + replacing CSB (you should anyways just because its out and stupid not to) would be much cheaper than a new unit

Ill give it to you for $50 + gas to meet you half way (I am in Charlotte now)

No man, you got me all wrong here. I'm saying that the universal joint that bolts to the differential can't cost more than like $30 bucks to make. BMW for some reason doesn't offer this part separately so your are stuck buying a $800.00 drive shaft. That sucks dude!

Thanks everyone. I realize I could use the rear half of a used drive shaft.
I'm going with a rebuilt. It will come with a new flex disc, center bearing and balanced.

If it was just a DD I wouldn't care, but it sees the track a few times a year and I don't want to take any chances.
