Alright, here's the question that I've posted probably a million times. BUT - I'm a bit more turbo savvy now. So here goes.
From what I can tell there are 2 different FI setups for the Ti, the Mosselman turbo and the DASC. The DASC runs a whopping 7.5 lbs. of boost, whereas the turbo runs even less.
Compared to other cars this seems ridiculously low!
So. . . why aren't people running different injectors to match the airflow and keep from running way too lean and a piggyback to control A/F ratios?

If you have the m44 you can get the NickG stage 3 DASC kit and bump the boost up to 10psi, complete with a tuned chip, pulley, etc... No need for a piggy back controller.
If you have the m42 you can always run the dasc with a euro HFM upgrade and a piggy back controller. Doesn't seem to be that common in the Ti's, one member here that I know of, but you do see it on the e30 m42 cars.

The reason most people don't push more boost is the 10:1 compression and cast internals (three cheers for the ultimate driving machine).
