You would change it when you change the oil in the engine. BMW thinks that you can go 12k miles on a single oil change, but I would never do that. And before the next question gets asked, you would change the intercooler fluid each time you change the fluid in your radiator. | | | 07-17-2006, 08:16 PM | #242 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | will all these maintanence rules and eveyrthing we need to do in future be in the instruction manual? | | | 07-17-2006, 09:57 PM | #243 | Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: oregon Posts: 83 | THis is good. I've been changing my fluid every 10k miles with a filter change every 5k, had my oil tested and everything was hunky dory. | | | 07-18-2006, 12:09 AM | #245 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Quote: Originally Posted by cali-ti actually, when we sat down and talked with them, greg's recommendation seemed to be that you change it at the same time you change your engine oil. the quantity is small and it's easiest to remember if you do both at the same time. | Well, the one grub in that is that if its the same stuff Eaton uses its 25 or 30 dollars a Pint! Unless you find a good source, I found it locally cheaper but it took some digging... Dave | The Opcon Autorotor supercharger uses standard motor oil as a lubricant. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 07-19-2006, 11:59 PM | #247 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | im about 1,800 dollars away from buying the kit | | | 07-20-2006, 05:40 AM | #248 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: San Diego Posts: 29 | haha, almost there! | | | 07-20-2006, 11:40 PM | #249 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | imagine this kit does pull the 250 hp.
