Do a search. I know it has been a topic several times. | | | 07-29-2012, 09:56 PM | #3 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Nope. Different width, it won't match up to the shifter console. It'll physically bolt up, but it'll look funny where the front tabs normally tuck into the shifter console. FWIW, Marv17, myself and Bobbak all tried this with consoles out of e36 coupes and sedans. Black98 did it to his and posted pics, but no close ups to show how it doesn't line up. It's a "no". __________________ | | | 07-29-2012, 11:09 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Roanoke, VA Posts: 472 | And those responses are why I said 99% and not 100. lol | | | 07-30-2012, 01:05 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Broomfield,Colorado Posts: 664 | Last edited by black98; 07-30-2012 at 01:26 AM. I have the armrest from LeatherZ and it installs without the need to change out the console section. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. On our cars, it stuck out over 1/4" on both sides. Did you modify yours? Are you sure it didn't come out of a ti? It looks really good. I just don't understand because the consoles we tried all flared outward towards the forward edges | | | 07-30-2012, 03:36 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Broomfield,Colorado Posts: 664 | I dunno the po put it in. They did make an armrest specifically for the ti, but you had to pay extra for it. Kinda like the rear spoiler. | | | 07-30-2012, 04:18 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Broomfield,Colorado Posts: 664 | Oh I see I wonder if it was ordered when the car was new Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2 | | | 07-30-2012, 04:22 AM | #14 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Up until recently, they used to sell a kit. So a lot of people ordered and installed armrests later down the road. | | | 07-30-2012, 04:30 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Broomfield,Colorado Posts: 664 | Ah OK.
