If you supercharge your TI and have the same power as an m3, would you still put your badge as 332TI or ///M TI? Just wondering because you have the same power (i know that you dont have the motor though) I know someone (i forgot who) made a badge that said "DASC" for the left side of the car. If i do get the SEAM kit, i plan on putting 318TS. TS for "Twin Screw" unless its chizzy and pathetic. But neh, ill leave it as TI. I prefer to leave it stock although my engine wont be stock. Also the 96+ should be called 319ti and not 318ti | | | 08-09-2006, 05:59 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | The only true designator would be 332ti or 328ti, etc with //M badges on spoiler and side door moldings IMO. One does not make an //M car on their own. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 08-09-2006, 06:08 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | What about the ///M ClubSport* insert on a true 95 Club Sport inplace of the just ///M insert. Still looking for these first hand or real pics but I got a p/N I'm tossing the idea of a Mercedes' "Kompressor" badge w/ a DASC. | | | 08-09-2006, 06:09 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali The only true designator would be 332ti or 328ti, etc with //M badges on spoiler and side door moldings IMO. Posts: 102 | My general rule of thumb is that if you need to go out of your way to claim something, chances are you're boasting. Actions speak louder than words, so just put your foot into it and let the rear wheels do the talking. | | | 08-09-2006, 06:41 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | I wouldnt change it to 332ti, thats saying that you have a 3.2 liter engine. I wouldnt change it to ///M either because its not a ///M car. I would put a badge that says DASC or Supercharged on. That way you can show off your new power without pretending to be something your not. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 08-09-2006, 06:46 PM | #13 | doesn't care about you. I like the DASC emblem because only a small number of people know what it means. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 08-09-2006, 06:53 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Hinsdale, IL.
