Default WTB: M42 head, valve cover, other parts

Hi,

I pulled off my the head on my 95's m42 today to replace what I thought was a blown hg only to find worse: a cracked head. I'm taking it to a local cylinder head shop to see if it can be repaired tomorrow but in the mean time I need to look for a replacement if it can't be, along with a few other parts. You can respond to this thread or email me at jmejia019@yahoo.com. All parts are for MY95 318ti, production month 10/95, M42 engine.

-M42 cylinder head. I dont know how many different heads there are for this motor but it must match my current one. cams are not necessary. valves and springs are also not necessary but would be fine if the seller didnt want to remove them.

-CLEAN (or reasonably so) valve cover. I have a perfectly functional one now, just dirty and grimy with cooked oil all over. a clean oil filler cap would be nice too

-CLEAN upper intake mani. the same deal as the vc, just a cosmetic upgrade so it must be clean.

-Driver's and passenger's side motor mounts. OEM or aftermarket, lightly used or new, so long as they are in pretty good shape.

-Fresh injectors (with papers to prove it). I was gonna have mine cleaned anyways but if someone has a new or recently cleaned set for a reasonable price that would be just as fine.

Thanks you all for you help!

I have a valve cover and upper intake manifold from a m44, They are both clean for what they are. the vavle cover should bolt up no problem, im not sure about the intake manifold though. Maybe we can take some pictures to compare and contrast. I also think I have some decent motor mounts. Let me know what you think.

If you don't get a reply, I have one you may be interested in. It's from a 95 m42.

Just to update on everything:

Head has been purchased.

Manifold purchased.

Mounts purchased.

Injectors are being cleaned.

So basically all I need is the valve cover, which hopefully spykejones' is clean and cheap and then ill be set

FYI... The M42 and M44 do not have the same valve cover. The nipple for the crank case vent valve is at the front on the M44 and the rear on the M42.

This is not the case for the later m42s and considering the ti had the last year m42 they were interchangeable. Just wanted to clarify so there is no confusion. Btw how did the dif cover look?
