Default Cosmo racing intake install question.

So my intake finally arrived. while installing it this afternoon i realized a couple of things. The directions from cosmo are crap. Also, what is the rubber hose coming from the airbox to that cylinder type thing just under the HMF? any install help/tips would be of great help. thanks.

Intake is installed. But im a little worried about starting the car with that hose just hanging loose. I can post pictures if it might be helpful.

For the hose you either need to drill a hole into the intake piping to attach the hose, or get a breather filter (any auto parts store should carry them) filter the air going in the hose.
