I know that there are rubber seals that go along the doors and trunk. I know that they are able to prevent water from coming in... but howabout insects? I just saw a BIG (like...1/2 inch W/O the legs) black widow in the corner of my garage and in my attemt to kill it, it ran away... In my garage there is also an E30, do you know if my cars are safe? I don't want to be driving around and all of a sudden... HELLO Spider on my shoulder!! and I just did a little search about this spider... obviously venomous, but I just saw pics of bites that scared me... sorry Steve I wasn't sure where to put this thread... -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. IF it really is a problem for you then back the e30 out for a night and put in a few foggers. That'll get'em. No they are not sealed enough to prevent most insects. Ventilation holes in trunk. __________________ SPEED IS NOT AN EQUATION CONSISTING OF DISTANCE DIVIDED BY TIME. Last time i checked, black widows are definately something you dont want to mess with. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 07-03-2006, 05:45 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | Quote: Originally Posted by Platanos I am absolutely SCARED of spiders!!! | Glad I wasn't the only one... haha... so we fogged it last week and I went to school (summer classes ) So when i get home my dad approaches me with a ziploc bag with the spider in it... America. For some reason, there are some brown spiders that love to live in and around my car... they're about 3/4 inch total diameter, so they're pretty small. Luckily I haven't had a problem with them getting too close to me yet... P.S. extra story. A few years ago we had a spider on our back porch that must have been about 3 or 4 inches in total diameter... and it was green! It was the scariest thing I've seen in my entire life lol... It stayed up in a corner of our porch for about a week, then it disappeared | | | 07-03-2006, 02:27 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: blah blah Posts: 55 | I love spiders. __________________ '98 ti avus blue sport / m tech trim / stock M44 / real carbon fiber dash kit / m pedals / One piece head lights / cali top / custom 10" sub box / 10" xtant sub / xtant 1.1i amp / passenger side 7" screen installed in sun visor / pioneer avic-n1 / 18" mille miglia 11-3 / black m3 vader seats/ Welsh Royals/ http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35...1aroyalcar.gif | | | 07-03-2006, 04:42 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | __________________ | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
