Default worst exhaust.. ever

Well it's basically a stock s52, stock midpipe with cat delete (because the midpipe section I received has signs of overheating in one of the cats)

still going to add mufflers, thought I'd see if anyone had recommendations or pictures of their setup.

I wanted something small and light, but that probably won't sound any better. Didn't use the stock resonators because the tubing diameter is smaller than the 2" tube (they are heavy for as small as they are) I was going to go straight pipe all the way, but the way the midpipe sounds, I don't think adding a few feet of pipe is going to make it any better.

M coupe muffler maybe, but I don't really like dual dual tips.

Side exit would be cool! I just can't imagine a proper setup on the ti yet though..

How do you like the 2.5" single sound? I might change it sometime.. thinking part of the reason it sounded so bad was the old gas I neglected to drain...

Fresh air and polar bears are overrated. At least your neighbors will appreciate the soothing rumble and smell of gasoline as their windows shake every morning. Cat delete = Ghetto, selfish and inconsiderate IMO.

Thumbs up

I hear you Jess, it's like those inconsiderate f*%#s that burn firewood. Selfish bastards, I mean who cares if they stay warm, they shouldn't be polluting the air.

the old gas smells espcially bad! Well I have a whole tank now to burn off going nowhere.. I should drain the gas from my tank..There's a stream right near here I could pour it out there. Saves me from driving to the recycling center!

Granted you dont like dual tips nor heavy catbacks, the mcoupe is practically bolt in in a sense that you create your midpipe to connect to it. I have one on my 318ti, 325ti, and soon on the c57.

Yeah, what were those stupid car manufactures thinking when they started spending billions of dollars installing platinum coated devices and expensive sensors that take thousands of readings a minute to make our cars run more efficiently Everyone knows that firewood releases way more hydrocarbons and Co2 than the millions of cars on the road I suppose you think everyone running catalytic converters is ignorant huh? I suppose you being cheap and ghetto makes you that much more intelligent than the engineers who designed your car or the agencies that imposed laws to protect our environment. Well played sir.

Lol, if my daughter read this she would freak out. I don't think she understands sarcasm very well. You ARE being funny, right???

I'm not sure what I'm planning yet, I only know that I'll be using a dual in/out Stromung catback from an M3.

Yes being sarcastic! .. that old gas really is bad though.. engine did not want to accelerate with load. It sounded better after I mixed some fresh gas in, so I'll drain it before running it again.. Didn't think it was that old, but that better be it.

Blue! Got any pics? 'c57' your ls1 compact? Got enough ti's yet!? I know what it's like I've had a few duplicates..Can't believe you have the energy to work on all of them!

Jess: whatever makes you happy child.

Yes, c57 is the ls1 ti. The C designates Carbon and the 5.7 is the 5.7L of engine.

Did you have to cut your bumper for the dual tips to fit? I picked up a OEM E36 M3 catback and it looks like I might have to do some cutting.

Agreed. The weight on the OEM M3 catback is ridiculous. I might think of doing something custom with a single tip.
