Everyone seems to go auto to manual, but I want to stay auto. Is it the same? | | | 10-26-2014, 08:36 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | you mean will a S5x motor bolt up to the ti trans and work? You may have to hybrid the driveshaft (M3 front, ti rear). You would want both the ECU and TCU computers with the harness as well. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. It's just using the ZF auto ecu and most likely the same wiring harness. I would leave it in and just plug the ZF ecu up and BAM. It should work. Engine harness should be from an auto as well. And engine ecu should be from an auto m3. 👍 __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit!
