Hi All I'm after some Clubsport door sills for my 318ti Sport but the Compact ones are now NLA from the dealers. The only ones still available are for the coupe & I've had advice from some people who say coupe / convertible ones do fit compacts because all the 2-door varients have larger doors & others have said the sedan sills fit compacts but coupe ones dont because Coupes/convertibles have a larger space between the front of the front doors and the wheel arch so have longer sills than saloon and compact i know thats why only sedan bonnets & front wings will fit compacts but that doesnt mean the same is true for the doors? has anyone fitted e36 coupe sills to a compact & can confirm they definately fit? thanks all | | | 11-05-2011, 07:13 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I know the coupe sills fit but you have to modify them a little bit, I believe CoolJess76 wrote up how to make them fit, it should be in the knowledge base section | | | 11-05-2011, 07:24 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Manchester, England Posts: 10 | excellent thanks at least i can order them theres only limited stock left! i'll look for the write up, cheers | | | 11-05-2011, 07:33 PM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Manchester, England Posts: 10 | great thanks i'll look for the write up. by the way where'd you get your grille badge from its cool! | | | 11-05-2011, 07:37 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | thanks, I got it on ebay, I believe the sellers name was detailhaus | | | 11-05-2011, 08:23 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Manchester, England Posts: 10 | i cant find the write up any chance you could post a link pls? | | | 11-05-2011, 08:30 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | huh, I can't find it now either | | | 11-05-2011, 10:56 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Coupe sills fit.
