Go to the dealer, Dusten.

You don't want used sway bushings...

Yeah, it turns out they are only $5/each with my BMW CCA discount. Unfortunately they are back ordered and I have to wait for them to come in from the motherland.

Has anyone drilled out their sway bushings and installed grease zerks? I want to make sure they stay greased up. I'll take some pics and post a write up when I get around to it.

I replaced my sways with M-tech sways. I'm not sure if the bushings that came with the M-techs ways were stock or not.

Checkout my thread:

What do you think?

You should not need grease on the rubber bushings. Only the polyurethane ones squeak.

Mine are stock M3 and are just fine with no grease (but I did use a bit of Silicone lube to help instalation).

Adding some grease won't hurt though, right?

The brackets already have holes in them, seem like a really simple way to add some additional lubricaiton before each auto-x.

Of course you can. If you upgrade sway bars it is basically is another larger/stiffer spring in your suspension. That means it increases the overall wheel rate.

Actually,it may.

Depending on the grease used and the rubber used, the grease may deteriorate the rubber...

I'm thinking Mobil 1 full synthetic or Lucas full synthetic (the green stuff). Maybe I should just upgrade to poly bushings. Where can I get poly bushings for the Ti Sport suspension?

Try Energy Suspensions. They cater to the off-road market, but if you know the ID and OD you can fit them in I'm sure.

Then you can grease them, but I'd only do it if they squeak...

Sounds good, I'll check them out. Not to open open up a can of worm here but...I was under the impression that the sway bars should move with as little resistance as possible, thus the grease zerk idea. Am I wrong? Or is the resistance from the OEM rubber bushings not enough to be concerned about?
