I saw this on another site and it just reminded me of it. Did you guys know if you put your key in the drivers side lock and turn it and hold that it rolls up all your windows even your sunroof. Just thought i'd share that with you guys who didn't know about it. I read this in my manual when i first got my car,the lock even heats up in the winter time to unfreeze,which i think is cool. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active

Cool! Why didn't I know that?? I doubtingly turned my key and voila...california roof and all.

You can use either lock driver or passenger...I don't think I ever tried the hatch, but it should work since it is a central locking system.... __________________

If I am not mistaken VW's go up and down depending on the way you turn your key...I wish ours would roll down aswell for those hot summer days when you want to cool the inside before getting in... __________________

You learn something new everyday with this car .... just tried it and it did the windowd AND the Cali top ... thanx ! i know for a fact this used to work on my car, but it stopped working around 36k (or, 84k miles ago) probably around the time my brother slid the thing into a guardrail.

OBC= On Board Computer, and I did know that. If I remeber correctly, the different options are time, temperature, MPG, and how many miles are left until you're out of gas. __________________

also, the OBC tells you your average speed as well
and for the window thing...i had NO IDEA AT ALL

ahaha! I never knew this either! I remember that my botfriend's VW Corrado did this and wishing that mine did, too. I've always used my keyless entry and never thought to try it out! | | | | | |
