Haven't posted in a LONG time...Came by to see what was on the market for sale...Foremost, this is a beautiful Ti. I sold my 97ti with DASC last year for $13,500. What's amazing about these for-sale posts is that persons feel the need to post bullsh*t while at the same time trying to disguise the aformentioned bullsh*t as relevant dialogue...All of which is negative and focuses (however subtly) on why the car isn't worth the advertised/asking price...This brings out experts in their own-points-of-view. Seriously...It's enough STFU. Don't crap on anyones threads out in the open. Write them a fu*king email if you want to spew your negative/critical diatribe. Let buyers make up their own minds. It is a FOR SALE ad: the market should/will dictate if it gets a new owner at the asking price. Why would anyone want to try to influence market dynamics which, at the end of the day, are entirely out of their control...You would probably have better luck constructing a dam in the middle of the Pacific Ocean than trying to influence market direction with your senseless dribble. This isn't directed at a single person in this thread. Moreover, I do not know the seller; have never met him/her and have never seen this car until I saw it here. I have a rather unique perspective on this subject as the last time I posted here, I didn't own my own BMW dealership. Now I do: http://www.eucalifornia.com I get 'experts' all day long who are interested in cars I'm selling, but go out of their way in an attempt to beat me down or humble me with tales of 'how bad the market and/or economy is' and, by doing so, try to soften me up for their wet-dream offers they deliver after believing they asserted economics 101 on me. If you don't have anything positive to say, then just put a cork into the cheeseburger door below your nose.

thanks johnboy, this bad economy is killing me, so i might not end up selling it just because i dont want to give it away, which is pretty much what i am doing already.

On a somewhat related note, i just saw the one guys thread about the $8900 ti, stock, and why cant i get more interest in my car? I just dont understand. My ti should be sold in a heartbeat for $10K.

bd48, pm me.

This looks like a nice car and low miles. Good luck!

What exhaust is on it?

You know, 12.5 psi will likely rip that transmission apart.

no it wont, doesn't even hickup, transmission is perfect, shifts quickly and smoothly, no signs of any problems, no codes stored in trans computer for abnormalities, nothing, dont forget this trans has only 50K miles.

Me saying this car is in excellent condition is an understatement.

PS: Just a reminder to everyone who feels they have to make a comment in this thread, of the for sale thread rules, specifically number one:

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound negative. Just something future owners might consider. The GM auto put in the 318's has a torque converter rated for 180-210 ft-lbs torque, which 12 psi puts out 195 ft-lbs. To be honest, the same transmission is used in the 328i which puts out 207 ft-lbs. I'm just saying it can get close. Please do not take what I said to be any sign of the car's condition. From what I have seen it appears to be in completely immaculate condition and I would love to be able to check it out myself.
