Have yet to flip a coil with it, but I'm pretty positive that' it. Probably going to source a new one from the dealer. | | | 07-13-2010, 10:57 PM | #380 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | finally got around to putting a fresh coil in cyl 2 and its practically perfect throttle and idle. For once I feel like I did something right, until tomorrow when I update saying it blew up (cross fingers) | | | 07-13-2010, 11:05 PM | #381 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | glad shes running good now __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 07-13-2010, 11:31 PM | #382 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Monterey, CA Posts: 770 | Great, I just had the same thing happen. So I guess it was sparking but not enough. the hairline crack did enough to it I guess, so the new coil makes such a huge difference | | | 07-13-2010, 11:35 PM | #385 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Monterey, CA Posts: 770 | What else is left? The car is running, but is throwing the following codes: I can't seem to find where to hook up the secondary O2 sensor. Could there be some connection I'm missing? Second is the vacuum valve for the exhaust and third the ABS light after the cluster swap. Any clues to fixing this? Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance. __________________ "Never trust a big butt and a smile" 97- 328Ti (daily) 01- S2K (auto-x, cruiser) 96- JDM Integra SiR-G turbo (1/4 mile, auto-x, road course, show) | | | 02-23-2011, 08:11 PM | #389 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Quote: Originally Posted by silverm3bmw Been a while but I can not PM you. For the o2 sensor. Right now the secondary o2 is bypassed. I am using the stock 318ti harness. Is there way to connect the secondary o2 to the pre-exsisting harness, or will this have to be swapped for the entire 328 unit? __________________ "Never trust a big butt and a smile" 97- 328Ti (daily) 01- S2K (auto-x, cruiser) 96- JDM Integra SiR-G turbo (1/4 mile, auto-x, road course, show) | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
