Default M3 rear spoiler on a Ti?

I was driving up this morning and saw a Ti with what I thougt was an e36 M3 looking spoiler on the back. Thought I remember someone here doing that but it took modification. Looked kinda... big. Anyone have pics?

I remember reading that the M3 sedan spoiler was a better match to the contour of the ti than the coupe version.

From the front it looks alright. From the weird it looks a bit extreme.

That is correct.

I have the factory M3 GT wing with LTW riser blocks and it fits perfectly (except where it overlaps the rear window and needs to be fitted).

There's a pic in my gallery... attached is a pic from a show in NJ in '09.

yea I was thinking it was the M3 sedan too. just wondering how the sides fit because we don't have as much "deck" space as a coupe or sedan. I thought for sure someone with a red ti did it.

Thumbs up

Does this mean you're planning on keeping the ti Phil?

Lol no. Old habits die hard! I have a 99 Passat as my dd with167k. I don't fuss about it and that's nice. There are so many good deals out there though. I may just take home a wayward e30 very or a 535is if my will is not strong. It's soooo easy to keep dreaming about modding Ti's though. -
