Default insert for ashtray and lighter area?

i don't smoke and these take up space where i would rather just have the lighter plug so i can hook up my cell phone charger and it can sit in there while i drive. my question is: does anyone sell an insert for this area after the ashtray and lighter are removed? the open whole that is there looks like ****. did anybody else who removed this replace it with anything? i tried making an insert myself with fiberglass but it came out like **** so i'd rather just buy it. any help would be much appreciated thanks

I molded over mine and sanded it to make it smooth then painted it, I also relocated the lighter to just before the hazard light, and removed the ashtray altogether since I dont let anyone smoke in my car.

yessir. but you may want to double check www.realoem.com as i've found ron's part numbers to be off once and again.

looked up the part in the US database, and the one given is correct. you should still be able to get it from your dealer in germany. if not, PM me and i'll see if i can get one to you.
