Be a jerk, it hurts less. | not that this is right (it sure shouldn't be how it works), but i find if you give TOO much, then they tend to talk on you or not appreciate it. when you tend to be more "controlled" in your giving, they want you more. go figure ... | | | 08-06-2005, 04:13 PM | #29 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: New Jersey Posts: 363 | I have about given up... I see her alot, for lunch, dinner, movie what not... But it isn't the same, and I can't deal with that crap. I want her so badly, but if I can't I can't keep making myself go crazy over her. I am ruining myself, because of a stupid girl that I care so deeply about. It sucks, and I am starting to realize it. People even tell me now that I am too nice to her, even when she keeps on tearing out my heart. I know I shouldnt, but can't help it. I want so badly to be there for her, but apparently she doesn't. Went to a party last nite, she calls me for directions... I tell her them, just because it'd be nice to see her there. She brings her ex-coworker with her, this guy I am sure is a nice guy but a crummy person. Impregnated a few thats all... I saw them walk in, I hit the bottle right away. I swear I saw them kiss, it felt like a dagger in my drunken stupor. He left and me and her sat on the couch inside ( we bother weren't capable of leaving, dunkity drunk) and we chatted. Everytime I talk to her I want to tell her what is bothering me but I can't, I don't want to annoy her and have her want me out of her life completely. But she got cold, and said she was going to get her blanket outa the car. Me being the stupid nice guy I am go and get that for her down the block, and come back and let her take the couch and pillow and blanket. I was on hardwood floor, I think I am too nice and maybe that is why it hurts so badly. I give up... __________________ RIP Tonka Hitlerietta 08/03/04 - 01/25/05 | | | 08-07-2005, 03:23 AM | #30 | Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: florida Posts: 30 | Wisdom I tell you what. You just were treated to a case of wisdom. In about 10 years you will have to think hard about what her name is. From my experience with women I can tell you that she was just ready to either get married or engaged and you just happened to be part of that even if it was the end part where you exited. I learned a long time ago that looks are great to get attracted to but the personality is what makes a relationship last. After 3 months you know if this person is one you can live with or not the rest of your life. There are many wonderful women out there that are looking for a good man. I know you have learned from this and from your description of this woman would you really want to be engaged or married to her???? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
