Default Max wheel / tire size

I am looking to put a set of staggered wheels on the ole ti. Are the specs below too aggressive? Has anybody done something that big with that ET45 rear offset?

Front Size: 19" x 8.5
Rear Size: 19" x 9.5
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 120
Offset Front: ET35
Offset Rear: ET45
Lip Front: 1.5" Front Size: 235/35/19
Lip Rear: 3" Rear Size: 245/35/19

Why would you want to run staggered wheels on a ti? What a PITA! I don't even run staggered wheels on my M3.

What are you using the car for? Strictly track, or is this your daily driver?

Why is staggered a PITA? I run staggered on my M Roadster and it looks with a deeper lip on the rear.

Staggered wheels increase understeer and don't allow you to rotate the tires. The reason bmw went from 17x7.5s on the 95 M3 to staggered wheels on the 96+ M3 was because the average customer couldn't handle the oversteer.

From a performance perspective, a square setup is desired over a staggered setup.

Thanks for that, much appreciated. Since I posted this for the first time I autocrossed the car and felt the dreaded understeer. I completely agree with the square assessment.

That said, what offset would be recommended? And would you use spacers on the rear to increase the rear trackwidth?
