Tire worn to the cord. On further inspection it seems the wheel was pretty bent on the inside rim. Guess what? No one remembers hitting anything! I tried beating it with a sledgehammer on a 4x4 with some benefit but had to replace the tire so we could use the car anyway. It's now on the rear. I have a set of 16" 5-spokes for the next time I need a full set of tires (too damn expensive to mount and balance these days to do these things capriciously), but I'd like to find a cheap, lonely, single 15" 5-spoke for the interim. Something close to Virginia would be best but I do get around from time to time. I've got plenty of time on my hands now that I'm among the growing jobless in this great country! Just no money other than what I pay the schools. Thanks for any help. -Phil | | | 10-27-2009, 01:58 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Charlottesville, VA Posts: 102 | Try Mike Stoneman, I am not sure what size wheels they are but his brother has a Ti that he bought for his daughter but she hit a deer and totaled it. He is now trying to sell the whole car, but might be willing to sell one of the wheels. Also, hi Phil it is Jamie. | | | 10-27-2009, 05:14 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Berlin, Germany Posts: 258 | I may have just one, can you post a picture so I can verify the style? __________________ | | | 11-02-2009, 01:17 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Virginia Posts: 368 | Thanks.
