WTB: 318ti (prefer club sport) East Coast

Been driving BMWs for most of my driving years. Currently own an e28 and looking for something different. Would like to find an 318ti Club Sport. However I am open to what is available. Let me know what you have.

Have you perused your local craigslist?

Over in Albany area is a nice 99 Black/Black model. All 99's were M techs and only 350 were sold here in the US that year supposedly. Mines a 99 as well.

Hate when ads are that cluttered, Transmission should be right beside the engine designation not interior and if it has a sunroof. I had to reread that a few times to see that.

That being said a nice 5 speed swap and it would be a great car. I have to convert mine some day. I have the driveshaft and transmission just sitting around.

Thanks I was talkoing to him before I joined this forum. He currently has it posted on ebay. Didnt seem too interested in considering offers. Once I got the story I questioned whether or not I even was going to consider it.

im going to be starting a custom wood working business VERY soon. Im getting a grant to buy a new CNC machine. Now all i have to do is buy the rest of my wood working machines. so im going to sell my 96 318ti sport auto. black leather interior in 9/10 and silver exter in 7/10. 6 disk changer, 10 speaker surround. car is 100% stock. I'd like to get 3,000$ but am open to offers like a Beater car and some cash, or an on/off road dirtbike and some cash. pretty much a form of transportation cheap, and some cash. or best offer.

when i first bought the car i called a bmw dealer and asked them about it. they said it was. Just a moment ago, i did a few vin lookups and called another bmw dealer and they all said no. So why does it have the side skirts and cd player. are those just options and a sport package has to do with the suspension? this thing turns on a dime. its at full turn in 1 2/3 from the center. Im going to see if someone will do a carfax for me and ill let you know.

a sport package that year would have the M-tech front and rear bumpers and door moldings, it also had a slightly lowered suspension

thats is what you called a step better than the basic packg ? only diff in between the base and active is a few electronic gadgets and the m sport is the whole car LOL

what do you mean by the m sport is the whole car? how do i tell if this is an active? it has a moon roof, CC, power lock button, A/M button for the trans, side skirts. are these just options for a basic or would that make it an active.
