Over in Albany area is a nice 99 Black/Black model. All 99's were M techs and only 350 were sold here in the US that year supposedly. Mines a 99 as well. http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/2666509268.html It's priced a little high but little haggling goes a long way. Not sure if it's an automatic or standard either. | | | 11-08-2011, 03:21 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Virginia Posts: 368 | Quote: Originally Posted by M-technik-3 Not sure if it's an automatic or standard either. | Ran right by it: Quote: The car is black on black with a roof, auto, leather | | | | 11-08-2011, 03:26 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | Hate when ads are that cluttered, Transmission should be right beside the engine designation not interior and if it has a sunroof. I had to reread that a few times to see that. That being said a nice 5 speed swap and it would be a great car. I have to convert mine some day. I have the driveshaft and transmission just sitting around. | | | 11-09-2011, 04:48 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: New Haven Posts: 6 | Thanks I was talkoing to him before I joined this forum. He currently has it posted on ebay. Didnt seem too interested in considering offers. Once I got the story I questioned whether or not I even was going to consider it. | | | 11-09-2011, 04:50 AM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: New Haven Posts: 6 | Thanks I saw that before I joined this forum, he doesnt want to move too much on the price. After I made him an offer he put it up on ebay and sent me a nasty message saying I could watch it there.... | | | 11-09-2011, 02:21 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | What a douche. Just a moment ago, i did a few vin lookups and called another bmw dealer and they all said no. So why does it have the side skirts and cd player. are those just options and a sport package has to do with the suspension? this thing turns on a dime. its at full turn in 1 2/3 from the center. Im going to see if someone will do a carfax for me and ill let you know. | | | 11-23-2011, 10:57 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | a sport package that year would have the M-tech front and rear bumpers and door moldings, it also had a slightly lowered suspension | | | 11-23-2011, 11:40 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: northampton Posts: 129 | ACTIVE!!! what is that? | | | 11-24-2011, 12:07 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | thats is what you called a step better than the basic packg ? only diff in between the base and active is a few electronic gadgets and the m sport is the whole car LOL __________________ Mods: 325is zender spoiler, 3" carbon fiber antenna, 5% tints rear windows, black out grills, Fogged air intake, Ds1 wheels, Rokkor coilovers, bilstein rear shocks, blacked out tails and home made angel eyes | | | 11-24-2011, 02:16 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2011 Location: northampton Posts: 129 | what do you mean by the m sport is the whole car? how do i tell if this is an active? it has a moon roof, CC, power lock button, A/M button for the trans, side skirts. are these just options for a basic or would that make it an active. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
