Default Help trying to choose - Any thoughts appreciated!

Trying to join the club and get a modest entry under 5K. Always wanted 318ti and now I can afford to play with one a bit.
If you old timers have an opinion on these I appreciate any feedback:

1. 95 Club Sport Red, No rust, 168K miles - $4500
lots of history/paper work. Bought at 132K. Replaced the complete cooling system, front brakes, many suspension components, Shocks/struts, control arms, control arm bushing, sway bar bushings and links, shock mounts, tie rods. Has Bilstein Shocks/struts. Many plastic and rubber parts throughout the interior and exterior. Fixed door panels, service window sliders. Headliner is partially sagging but you can only tell if you look closely at it. Doesn't hang down over window or hit your head. Some paint scrapes on the front bumper near bottom and on side skirt. rock chips and very small parking lot dings, normal for the year. Slight fading on paint and clear coat peel on mirrors and back bumper. Car does shine up very well. Interior has no tears, some slight wear on the seats but looks very good. No service lights. Some oil seepage I believe from valve cover - doesn't drip on ground.
30 mpg 2nd owner.
PO had replaced clutch, diff, ignition, window regulators in the past and had it serviced at Dealership for most it's life.

2. 1995 Club Sport - 122K - asking $5K
clean, original, red, sunroof works great
- Car always in underground storage – seldom driven.
- car freshly detailed and carpets / seats shampooed
- non-smoker's car
- all body panels have matching VIN except for driver's front fender...must have been minor as engine compartment / fender well is straight
- paint is original and very good...a few areas of touch-up and one really small crinkle on right front fender edge
- NO RUST anywhere
- new ignition key tumbler (from BMW)
- new fresh oils in differential, transmission, and engine
-- Millpoint interior is good...driver's left leather bolster has small hole otherwise leather has been treated and is nice. Fabric is great. One very small hole in rear seat fabric.
- new Bavarian Motorwerks rubber floor mats
- performance chip has been added - pulls strong!
- comes with new Bentley Manual + two original Club Sport / BMW of America sales brochures
- having a new BMW windshield from Germany installed January 6th, 2014 ($610)
- 5 speed transmission is great except for that occasional "popping out of 1st syndrome" 318tis are known for. I've learned how to avoid that problem by adapting my driving so it very rarely occurs.
- key in driver's door does not work but has keyless entry/alarm which works fine on all three locks
- Needs tires

3. ’96 Base; Red, 77K, very clean, asking 4500
- Sunroof, Blapunkt sound,
- 5-speed
- No Cruise or Sport package

4. Unknown '96 with some M3 body/Interior swaps, Black, 171K
Halo lights, new tires, wipers, windshield,
rebuilt title from PO
needs trunk carpet, airbag light is on
He can’t tell me what basic model is, Asking 2500

The low mileage of #3 appeals to me. I doubt that #1 and #2 have cruise either. Good luck. John

Solid vote for #3, John. There's a lot you can do with this car.
