Talking Well that didn't take long...newbie intro

Hi all,
I posted a question last week about going from a Mini Cooper S to a ti under the name "zedoodlebug". Well I found my car the same weeK! I couldn't pass her up. Her name is Sabine after Sabine Schmitz, the BMW test driver and ring taxi driver. She is an Alpine white '97 318ti with Active package, sunroof and leather package. One woman owner loved and cared for and in remarkable shape for 90K mi. Thanks for the welcome previously. I have a question regarding suspensions. I think this car has original everything in that dept and I want to make it like new or better, steering and handling wise. What is the typical setup if I just want a daily driver with no plans for the track (yet).
Here is a picture of Sabine taken when she was up for sale in Autotrader:
I will take more pics when I can get better backgrounds.
Sharon

Hi Sabine, or should I say Sharon.

Is that a 5-speed you picked up?

That's what I'm talkin' about!

I saw Sabine once on a Jeremy Clarkson DVD and she was driving the Audi R8 against the Stig in a Porsche. She's a great driver!

I would say the best money I have spent on mine was the H&R sport springs and Bilstein shocks/struts. Right after that would be the e46 17" wheels...

It looks so much better and handles better too.

Welcome to the forum!
