Default Rear clunking over mild bumps

I have a problem where the rear makes an annoying clunking sound over mild bumps.

Car is a 97 318ti sport and has H&R coilovers front, and H&R rear springs & shocks.

I have so far checked wheel bearing play- all good
Checked shock mounts- good as new
removed subframe bush lower plates to inspect subframe bushes- all good
Removed all contents from the trunk including spare wheel/tools- all good

What else could it possible be?

Thanks in advance

Exhaust, diff mounts, or your springs are just hitting the perches possibly. Send me an airline ticket and I will come out and solve it for you

I have noticed the diff ear bush looks a bit perished nesr the bottom. I might take off the cover and look at it a bit closer.

Thanks.

If I win the lottery, ill take you up on the offer. lol

When the subframe bushings deteriorate you'll notice a nice gap between the top of the bushing and the chassis. You'll be able to see the actual bolt that goes through the bushing.

My subframe had about 1/2" of vertical play and definitely clunked over the bumps.

Now, my exhaust makes annoying noises where it hangs from the subframe.
