When you slide it down it should just pop the plug right out. Then when you put it back on you can slide it back up and it will lock it into place. | | | 02-04-2006, 12:32 AM | #3 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | If the OBC still works but just the display isn't bright enough why didn't you just replace the bulbs? __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 02-04-2006, 12:37 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Utah Posts: 100 | Is it possible to change the bulds in the OBC since it's an LCD? | | | 02-04-2006, 12:45 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Ohio Posts: 39 | Quote: Originally Posted by andrewsarg101 This isn't a good description, but there is a lever type thing that holds it on there. BMW told me at least a couple hundred bucks to fix it. | | | 02-04-2006, 01:54 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | how much did you buy it for?? The OBC used to work but something happened and it wouldn't light up, you could read it if you looked really hard in the daylight but at night forget it. So it always worked but didn't light up properly at times. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
