Default 98 318ti M Sports Man Trans Silver - FL

It has become time for me to part with my 98 BMW 318ti. I purchased the car 3 years ago with only 38,000 miles on it and am only the 2nd owner. It was garage kept and in MINT condition when I purchased it. It is now at 59,800 miles, all up-to-date maintenance work from BMW including a brand new BMW manufactured battery. The car has the M sports package, manual transmission, power sunroof, heated seats as it was originally in DE, leather/ cloth combo seats (blue), power windows and handles better than any car I've ever driven. The car has regular wear and tear. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sports tires. I am asking $8,995 and located in South Florida. These models are fairly hard to come by around here esp with such low mileage. Anyone interested, please feel free to contact me with additional questions at 561.302.8305.
Thanks,
Deb
below is a stock photo I found online but it looks JUST like this:
I will get more photos to the people with serious interest in the car!

wow, 2 silver 318ti's in Broward Co! I've never seen another silver one around here. I saw a beautiful red one recently on 595 and almost got into an accident checking it out. Your rims are nicer than mine so i'm thinking yours would end up being the alpha of the 2 hahaha

where do you live? I'm in Sunrise but work in Downtown Ft Laud. I very very rarely see these cars around here and when I went to buy mine 3 years ago after completely falling in love with the make/model, I couldn't find one in good condition with lowish miles down here. I'm really hoping to find an enthusiast to buy the car because it IS so well maintained at under 60K miles. If my job hadn't changed over the past year where driving many many miles weekly wasn't the situation, I would absolutely hang on to this car until it couldn't drive anymore.

The car was built 10/97. Those fortunate enough to have a production date of 4/98 and later got the advantage of 3xx front brake rotors and calipers.

just out of curiousity..if it was built at the end of 97, why would the year on the car end up being 98? is that when it was ready for sale? I thought years of cars were like people's birth dates.

no very different.

they produce the cars before that year but they state that newer year on them so they can have a 98 for sale when the year has started. or a little before.

Typical of all automakers, model years and production months are not necessarily calendar year aligned. 1998 models were built in both calendar years 1997 and 1998. I suspect, if one looked at the Ti production numbers, units made were reducing by the later production months of 1998; this is probably why the 3xx brakes were fitted from April '98 forward as they began running out of the speced brakes and used what was in the parts bin. 1999 was the last U.S.production year as BMW pulled the plug due to waning sales volume. As a consequence, we all enjoy our little "cult" ride.
