go with race or stay with sports

ok so a friend of mine has a ti with stock suspension and possibly blown struts so of course he wants to upgrade. i told him im thinkin about upgrading to race springs so i could give him my hr sports for half the cost. im kind of afraid of being too low( moving to a dirt road soon) but i guess my real issue is what else will i need to go with these springs... the rear camber on my sports already does a number on my tire wear, so with race springs ill need to adjust the camber right? i would like some info help in that department please
is there anything else i should be worried about
also im running 235's and ihave no rubbing right now, that should still be fine right?

Unless you actually race, they're overkill--too harsh for street.

H&R Race springs are not that harsh.
Don't let the word race scare you.
Although on dirt roads there may be ruts and you can possibly scrape the bottom of the car.
I have a hard time getting into my parking area now that I have my race springs.
I have to go up the driveway very slowly and I still scrape my lower lip.

kelso, I feel your pain on the rear camber issue. Unfortunately the only thing we can do is buy adjustable RTABs. I'm not even sure if those would fix the camber 100%, but I'm sure you'll agree that replacing tires every year really sucks. I like the race springs, but before I buy another set of tires, I'm going to buy the rear camber kit.

the camber isnt terrible right now but its enough that ill think i have plenty of tread and like just the other day i checked the inside and i almost need new rear tires honestly...

i decided i am gonna go ahead and get the race springs for sure. im just going to hold off on buying the carbon front lip for a while lol. but i might be buying a new DD so i can let the ti sit home a little more often anyways
how much does the adjustable rtabs run and wheres the best place to get them.

The RTABs will fix the issue of prematurely wearing tires. The problem with them is that they can slip or rather they will slip. It also has be a compromise between the camber and toe. They are not ideal for adjustment, but that is the best we can get short of IE's pieces that must be welded onto the rear subframe.

Depending on the offset of the wheels you may have to do some fender rolling with the race springs. It really isn't a big deal. Just make sure to heat the metal up so that you won't chip the paint.

I'm not sure the Race spring spring-rates are enough for the amount of drop. I race quite often on my Sports and they seem to do just fine (with Konis).
