Default How old are these H&R Sports?

I bought these from a gentleman on Craigslist, the leftover remains from his supercharged 318ti project. He decided to go with GC coilovers before installing these. Anyway, he didn't remember how long ago he bought them. They're purple colored.

How old are these, and how do they differ from the current H&R Sports (aside from being linear). Pics:

i have purple h&r's thats their current color for sports.

i doubt anyone on here will know. you could maybe call h&r?
