Pics of Mtech body moulding and a raggedy set of contours I picked up yesterday!

The wheels need refinishing but it was such a good deal and they even came with a pair of new tires. They are straight and imho look really great on just about any E36.

I bought some additional body clips for the moulding and now it lays just like it should. Very satisfied with the look of the car now.

Next step.... a decent muffler upgrade!

I got lucky on Ebay and purchased these from a guy who owned 97 or 96 Sport ti.

it really does look better with these. Should have been standard from the factory IMHO...

Yea saw those on eBay too.I even gave him an offer lol. I've read that used ones dont fit as tight as they should be, That's why I was hesitant to purchase them.Did you have an issue with them?

They didn't fit as well as I'd like initially but once I ordered some new clips and worked with them some more, they fit great now!

Since I didn't get to go south to Bimmerfest west, I had a few things ordered and finally got the time to put them in;

M3 offset LCABs
Strut tower reinforcement plates
Re-did the x-brace mounts (nutserts), all 6 of them
replaced the diff mount (mickey mouse ear) with a solid e30 bushing instead of a Z3 comfort one
replaced the rear sub-frame bushings with OE MCoupe bushings
replaced my broken UUC poly trans mounts (crap) with OE e46M mounts.

8 hours total time, with help...

Not today, but last week I finally changed the valve cover gasket. Got some new tires, plugs, wires, brakes and changed the oil too.

Grey bumper-> Black bumper!

I almost feel bad taking the original bumper off the car (with VIN stamp). How do I get over this? I guess making my 02 more original has changed my modding habits.

Default Finally!

Wednesday I bought a 1996 318ti Msport series , drove it home from Falmouth Ma. Can't put it on the road until June though, anybody have ideas what I should do with it until then?

Finally swapped out the cabin air filters. YUCK! Wasn't as tricky or hard as I was expecting.

Also took off my steering wheel twice trying to get it straight. Still tilted slightly to the left, but a lot better.

Also, spent way too long changing out an alternator belt on the girls civic. Geez, that sucked. Talk about no space to work. I need to find another ti for her and sell that civic. I hate working on that thing.

changed my front ABS sensor, took me an hour and a half of pulling the old one out in pieces I didn't want to drop $100 for a new one so I got a used one and that was bad too, at least I know it will come out easier when I get a new one
