The wheels need refinishing but it was such a good deal and they even came with a pair of new tires. They are straight and imho look really great on just about any E36. I bought some additional body clips for the moulding and now it lays just like it should. Very satisfied with the look of the car now. Next step.... a decent muffler upgrade! | | | 05-18-2013, 12:50 AM | #2972 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2013 Location: Massapequa New York Posts: 113 | Car is looking great where did you get the m-tech moldings from bavauto? Should have been standard from the factory IMHO... | | | 05-18-2013, 02:30 AM | #2974 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2013 Location: Massapequa New York Posts: 113 | Yea saw those on eBay too.I even gave him an offer lol. Got some new tires, plugs, wires, brakes and changed the oil too. | | | 05-20-2013, 02:36 AM | #2980 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | Grey bumper-> Black bumper! I almost feel bad taking the original bumper off the car (with VIN stamp). How do I get over this? I guess making my 02 more original has changed my modding habits. __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 05-20-2013, 03:20 AM | #2981 | Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 38 | Finally! Wednesday I bought a 1996 318ti Msport series , drove it home from Falmouth Ma. Can't put it on the road until June though, anybody have ideas what I should do with it until then? | | | 05-20-2013, 05:35 PM | #2982 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Portland, OR Posts: 159 | Finally swapped out the cabin air filters. YUCK! Wasn't as tricky or hard as I was expecting. Also took off my steering wheel twice trying to get it straight. Still tilted slightly to the left, but a lot better. Also, spent way too long changing out an alternator belt on the girls civic. Geez, that sucked. Talk about no space to work. I need to find another ti for her and sell that civic. I hate working on that thing.
