I'm sure you can understand that in business, or the Armed Forces, and in
relationships with family or boyfriend/girlfriend roles, etc., you must
trust others to perform their roles, and sometimes those others do not
perform that role to the satisfaction of the other parties they are tied to,
or the leader/commander/boss or customer. No company, or person, is perfect
all the time, as much as the others in the "relationship" may wish them to
be so.

That really gets me. Is he admitting that they are a larger, less forgiving company? They certainly aren't a MORE forgiving company.

2. I have had extensive discussions with the Product Manager in charge of the 1.9L supercharger kit, and I have determined that the kit that you have in your possession, although it is functional and will work, is NOT up to the QUALITY standards we have here at KO Performance, and I have reprimanded that Product Manager severely for ever allowing a product to ship that did not meet the quality standards for a KO branded and designed kit which I am adamant about enforcing.

Besides that being the longest sentence, and it's own paragraph (his old English teacher would be ashamed), GET THE NAME of the Product Manager. I just hate to see this go to court if he even THINKS of trying to sue for defamation of character or anything.

We have tried to be cost conscious for our customer base, which for the 318 market is, much more price sensitive than our M3 customers

That's the biggest F.U. I've seen from him. Buy this guy a clue.

As soon as I became aware of these unacceptable actions, in breach of our corporate policies and code of conduct, I reprimanded the salesman involved, and he has been placed on a 45 day probationary period, whereby any further instances of similar conduct, namely lying, will be met with an immediate firing from KO Performance. Honesty is extremely important to me and is a huge part of KO Performance, and as such, will not be tolerated.

If you need ammunition, use the information posted above from KOjag basically lying about sales.

You will need to insure the return shipment for it's full value as it was shipped to you of $3500.00, else risk being liable for damages to any of the parts when we test them in-house, however since this will also be refunded to you, it should not be an issue for you, unless you fail to insure the shipment for it's insured value. This will help protect your full refund
from us should you chose this route.

NO WAY dude. Insure it for $2000 or $2055 or w/e... but you don't have to insure the "retail" price of a kit that is incomplete and doesn't even f'ing work. That's ridiculous, man.

He wants to fly the Product Manager of the kit to you to install it? I'm sorry but isn't this the same Product Manager that was reprimanded and shipped you an unsatisfactory product? Don't do it.

I bet they did their welding from the stove and baked it in the oven, microwaved it for 2 minutes and Voila! We have a supercharger!

oh yeah ... that was one other thing i forgot to mention. the returns policy should be CLEARLY STATED BEFORE YOU BUY THE PRODUCT, not listed on the packing slip once you receive it. again, that is not acceptable and i'm sure any reasonable person (let alone a court) would not call that a valid returns policy. if it ain't clearly posted, it isn't valid.

Their website is a joke, all of their products say "usually in stock" As we all know this can't be the case. If he stocked every part that he listed he would have all of his assets tied up in parts that may or may not sell.

Got to Bimmer, when you get your money and offer them an exclusive..then go to BF.com and post this **** everywhere. You got ****ed, KO knows it, You know L8, I know it...I almost got one of there systems, til it jumped 500 for a late model M42.

KO sent me an email a while back when they first announced the kit. He wanted to know ALL about my water/alcohol injection setup so they could package it with their kits, probably stage 2 or 3.

I told him what kit I was using, but nothing more. I'm not going to let someone else make a profit off of MY design. If these guys can't even design their own injection setup, I can't believe they can design an entire supercharger kit!

I like the idea of a Bimmer exclusive. We owe it to the rest of the BMW community to blow this up. Part of being a good CEO is hiring high quality competent employees to represent your company. They failed at this. Now they can pay the price. It's one of the risks you take as a small business owner. Sucks to be them.

John @ Ko said he was going to post a reply to this site in regard to this supercharger. I think he actually believes he can pursuade some us to reconsider buying the product.

What I found amusing was this "reprimand" he gave to the one responsible. He told me on the phone that Joe, who I assume was the one reprimanded, was his best mechanic. Does he expect me to believe he would let him go? He tells us he was reprimanded; he will tell Joe that he said he reprimanded him to cover his ass.

a guy drove 300 miles to install a $30 power supply for a HP computer we bought off ebay for $150 because it was still under warranty. does that count as below $10k ? hehe...

The RMA# is 120105-1. Please include this number on the outside of the box so we know which order this pertains to.



Please include the receipt for shipping included inside a packing label pouch separate from the one which includes the shipping label. We will mail you a full refund check including shipment once the unit has been inspected.



We will refund you for ground shipping method only. Be sure to insure the kit for no less than $3000.00, which is what we insured it for when it was shipped to you, although full retail is $3500 as it is displayed on our website. If you chose a shipping method other than ground, we will deduct the difference in the refund check sent back to you.

The constant reinforcement that you should insure it for $3500 makes me wonder if that package is going to meet an unfortunate shipping accident.
