If you had a bad ground though it would not crank.

I am the guy M-technik-3 spoke of. I'm pretty far from WI... But with a no start it has nothing to do with the turbo stuff. The turbo setup does look like it has it's only issues.....

Seeing a fuel pressure regulator tells me that it might not have bigger injectors.
Also it is a draw through MAF but the BOV is vented to atmosphere so between shifts and when dumping the clutch you are going to go VERY rich.

If you have no spark or fuel the issue is either the DME or crank sensor....or wiring.

Have you replaced the crank sensor? WHen you crank the car does the fuel pump run? Does the fuel pump relay click?

email me as it's a little easier for me to help. jake@classicdaily.net

do you have a check engine light with switch on???? if so your DME should be good to go. maybe you have a EWS alignment issue, It will crank but it wont start. Your options are, pair it with inpa or other bmw software or just delete the EWS. I can help at no charge even remote connection but you will need a obd cable. my email is jcr787@gmail.com
